Silvio started playing bass in1979, strongly influenced by the Funk/Dance movement of the period, and played his first gig the same year. In the next few years he performed with a few bands and got involved in a few projects, also gaining some valuable early live and studio experience. In '87 he turned professional, soon becoming one of the busiest and most sought-after players on the Italian music scene. Since then, Silvio has performed live and in the studio with a number of artists and bands, also appearing on many festivals and events.
